New clarification added: Question : Dear Sir/Madam,Further to our query on Form E, as per clarification provided by you, as we understood in both places name of manufacturer and name of bidder, we will insert our company name, but in signature part, our representative in Libya will sign along with us as he's providing after sales services/warranty. Kindly confirm, if our understanding is right.Thanking you in advance.Response :Alongside signature contact information of local supplier and/or manufacturer should be clearly mentioned inf the form or any annexed documentation,Bidders can add lines and columns if necessary.

New clarification added: Quastion :Dear Sir/Madam,Related to Form E: Manufacturer's Authorization Form:, We as a manufacturer of Fire truck are participating directly for this tender and our local representative in Libya will be providing warranty and after sales service, who's also chassis/truck agent, in this case, how we can prepare this letter? Kindly clarify on this.Awaiting swift response.Response :Local representative signs form E alongside the Bidder and Manufacturer

New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Kindly note :Technical requirement has been updated we kindly ask you to check "ITB 2020 18095- Section II - Schedule of Requirements V.3.docx " & "ITB 2020 18095 Section III - Returnable Bidding Forms V.1.docx" ;Delivery period is 8 Months ;Delivery Terminal updated to "Benghazi" , Incoterms DAT for more information kindly look for the definition of international standards of incoterms and respective seller responsability ;Only DAT Benghazi is accepted ;regarding the local dealership & representative the condition is set for sustainability purposes as the base vehicle brand must have an official athorized dealership and representative in Libya that is able to satisfy after sales services, warranty and availiblity of the proposed model spare parts,Each bidder must upload the representative form signed by the local dealership of athorized brand representative,only local representative is accepted, not from Tunisia or Egypt,regarding the engine EURO 3 is the minimum acceptable standard,4*2 truck are not acceptable, minimum is 4*4, anything above is accepted,regarding the rate flow the technical specifications required are minimal requirement anything above is accepted anything below is rejected.

New amendment added #2: Amendment N°2 : - Modification of the minimum technical requirements : From - 4*4, 18.240" châssis to - 4*4 châssis (anything above is acceptable), on Section II: Schedule of Requirements - the Technical specifications for the Goods and Comparative Data Table.- Modification of the delivery time: From 6 months to 8 months- Extension of the clarification deadline (+1 week) and tender deadline (+1 week).

New clarification added: Question :"Bidder or producer of the base vehicle must have representative office in Libya that provides after sales service available in Libya, or must have agreement with local representative of the producer that provides after sale service available in Libya. Bidder should provide name and address of the representative office and confirmation from the representative it provides after sales service of the vehicles in Libya. To be checked by UNOPS and clarified if necessary."Dear Sir/Madam,As per above (one of the) must requirement, if we are proposing for example IVECO or MAN or Mercedes Truck chassis, do we need to partner with that particular brand agent or distributor?Or can we partner with any local well known company (not particular truck brand agent/distributor) as our local representative and also with after sales service agreement with them?Kindly clarify on this.Awaiting your swift reply.Thanking you in advance.Response :The bidder needs to partner with an official distributor of the brand of the proposed vehicle or demonstrate that the brand has an official distributors that is able to provide warranty & after sales services and spare parts of the proposed model and brand.Question :The revised amendment to place of delivery is Libya. Please declare status of Ports under whose control is the ports in which areas ?.Response :The place of delivery is Tripoli, UNOPS cannot declare information of port status or any security situation we kindly invite you to look for official sources of information.Question : Due to current holiday season here in Europe, our company is working with limited staff attendance and most of our suppliers are closed within at least 1st week of January. As per article 21 of “Section I: Instruction to Bidders” can you please consider a possible extension of the submission deadline? This would be really helpful to provide you an accurate offer. Last but not least, delivery time required as per Part B of the "Section II: Schedule of Requirements" (8 month) for such a scope of supply is really short.
