Radiation Survey Meters for Nigeria (NIR2009)

This requirement is for  Radiation Survey Meters for real-time monitoring of exposure of personnel to ionizing radiation, with audible and visual alarms, so that personnel can react quickly when an acceptable dose rate level is exceeded. The Nuclear Technology Centre of Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC), has the
responsibility to inspect nuclear facilities and needs to monitor ambient dose rates at facilities to ensure protection of nuclear inspectors. The System shall be dedicated to the use in carrying out regulatory roles and responsibilities and for contamination monitoring of radioactive waste management by NAEC, Abuja, Nigeria.
