Description

The purpose of this RFP is to identify a suitable individual consultant to support the WHO assistive technology team to create the knowledge base for a machine reasoning system for the identification and selection of assistive products

Interested candidates are expected to send their CV and Expression of Interest {cover letter} to assistivetechnology@who.int by 3rd April 2020.

The cover letter should briefly describe their AT domain of expertise and outline how their experience and qualifications make them a suitable candidate for this position. It should also list the specific AT categories on which they have the highest expertise (product codes, selected from the ANNEX below).

           

Upon selection, the individual consultant will be requested to provide: diplomas, work or residence permit, Declaration of Interests (DoI) form, copy of passport, medical clearance for fitness to work.

The Consultant shall be solely responsible for withholding and paying any taxes, duties, social security contributions and any other contributions which are applicable to the Consultant in in each location/jurisdiction in which the work hereunder is performed, and the Consultant shall not be entitled to any reimbursement thereof by WHO.
