Sludge or sewage handling trucks
New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2019/12782 :Question 5: can you please provide us by more clarificaions ,using and photos for part item (Sight Level Glass, Tubular) which is mentioned in spare parts list No. 2-4 in LOT1 and LOT2 ?Answer: The sight level glass Tubular is a well-known item for these trucks to meaure the level inside the tank. You can find it easily online. This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.

New amendment added #2: - There is an amendment to clarify the type of the tank's sludge for Lot 2 only which should be "at least 6 cubic meters" . The amendment is highlighted in yellow in the returnable forms' document for this lot. Please refer to the document list. - Extension is granted and new deadline is 21st of Dec 2019

New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2019/12782 :Question 2: We notice that the sludge tank capacity is 12 cubic meters in the Comprative Table for Lot (1) & (2).Is it same for both lots?Answer: You are right, there was a typo-mistake in lot 2 and an amendment is done to this tender and will be published today.Question 3: Is the minimum rated power of the engine is 220 HP/2500rpm in the Comprative Table for Lot (1) & (2).Is it same for both lots?Answer: Yes, the engine's power is the same for both lots. Question 4: 4x4 or 6x4 drive type is suitable for paved way , and as you know the proposed Vacuum Trucks are going to work on different type of ways. We think that 4X2 drive type will be suitable for Saadah Governorate. Can we quote this type of trucks?Answer: 4x4 or 6x4 drive type is suitable for both. Therefore, please stick to the required techincal specifications. This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.

New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2019/12782 :Question 1: Regarding LOT 1, the requirement is for 12.000 liter tank and the needed truck is 4x4. This is impossible thus the weight of the 12.000 liter is 12 ton and we have to consider the body weight accounting for at least 5 ton, so the total payload is estimated to be 17 ton which is not possible for 4x4. Yet if we go for higher configuration, then we will exceed the expected.Would you kindly clarify if excemptions or a revision of technical specifications can be made in order to resolve one of the issues? Answer: An amenment was done to the tender to reflect the correction of this for both lots as the required is either 4x4 or 4x6 drive type. Please refer to the amended documents.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.
