The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat is seeking a qualified service provider to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of its communication systems. The contract will have a duration of three to five years, during which the selected provider will be responsible for providing communication lines for voice and data, as well as all necessary infrastructure and services, at the UNFCCC Secretariat headquarters in Bonn, Germany, and at events organised by the UNFCCC Secretariat within Germany.

Key Requirements:

  • Internet connectivity at UNFCCC headquarters with redundant 600 Mbps symmetrical connections
  • Temporary internet connectivity for UNFCCC events in Germany
  • Technical support for telephony systems (Microsoft Teams and Audiocodes SBC)
  • Seamless service transition from the existing provider
  • Comprehensive support and maintenance with defined service levels

Important Regulatory Requirement:

Vendors must be legally authorised to provide telecommunications services in Germany and comply with all applicable German telecommunications regulations and standards.
