Supply of Pharmaceuticals

This is a courtesy notification to all pharmaceutical suppliers.

As the response rate of the tender (UNFPA/DNK/ITB/14/010) conducted on 18 February 2014 was not satisfactory, this is a re-tender for the supply of pharmaceuticals.
  
This tender is open to all manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and traders of pharmaceuticals.

Only products approved by a Stringent Regulatory Authority (SRA) for sales within the country of the SRA itself, products that are approved by WHO Prequalified (PQ)/Expert Review Panel (ERP) and/or products that are approved by a National Regulatory agency are eligible for this bid. UNFPA’s analysis will give preference to SRA approved or WHO PQ/ERP approved products.

The bid consists of two rounds:

•    For Round 1, bidders are requested to submit only the Bid Confirmation Form, the orange fields number 1-27 of the MS Excel Product Form (See Section X, 1) by 23 July 2014. Prices are not requested in Round 1. (Please read attached documents for more details)

•    Bidders who are selected for Round 2 will have to submit all the documents with full information requested in this tender by 23 September 2014.

UNFPA will notify bidders if they have been selected to progress to Round 2 approximately 27 August 2014. However, bidders should be preparing materials for Round 2 well before that notification due to the volume of material and samples required for submission.

Bidders are requested to quote for different categories of delivery lead time as follows:

1.    FOB/FCA Delivery Lead Time (1-3 weeks) with no Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)

2.    FOB/FCA Delivery Lead Time (4-12 weeks)

3.    FOB/FCA Delivery Lead Time (13-24 weeks)

The deadline for submission of bid is 23 July 2014 at 13.00h (Copenhagen Time) for Round 1 and no later than 23 September 2014 13:00 for Round 2. Requested samples for Round 2 form part of the bid and shall reach UNFPA’s reception on the same day and time. Samples should be sent separately from bid documentation, in case samples are delayed in customs.

A prospective bidder requiring any clarification on the ITB may contact Elaine Friis (friis@unfpa.org) in writing no later than 27 June 2014 at 17.00h Copenhagen time.

A Bid Information Video Conference will take place on 2 July 2014 10:00-12:00 hrs Copenhagen time. The objective is to answer questions relating to the bid to enable bidders to submit their best and final offer meeting UNFPA’s requirements. Kindly confirm by email to friis@unfpa.org by 27 June 2014 whether your company will be attending.
