The United Nations Global Service Centre/United Nations Support Base (UNSGC/UNSB) in Brindisi, Italy requires the services of a qualified provider to establish a contract for the provision of regular "Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Services on the Central Heating Systems" located in various buidlings at the UNGSC/UNLB. The contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with the option to be extended for an additional 2 consecutive one-year terms. Kindly note that there are a series of centralized heating systems (diesel type) in 15 buildings that include 15 boilers from a minimum of 21.9 kW up to a maximum of 546 kW, 15 metal/underground fuel tanks and approximately 180 radiators and 40 heating fans. The boilers in use are Riello, R.B.L., Rhoss, Ferroli, OFR, Belleli and Lamborghini. The services shall include the following activities:  Inspection service  Maintenance Service  Repair Services inclusive of required spare parts. The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI. We strongly recommend all companies to register at least at LEVEL 1 under the United Nations Secretariat prior to participating in any solicitation. The UNLB Procurement considers a firm's qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Therefore, in case of EOIs concerning equipment or supplies, for responding vendors who are not manufacturers, full details of the vendor's status, as a factory-appointed wholesaler or distributor, must be provided if not already on file with UNLB Procurement.
