SUPPLY & INSTALLATION OF FLATBED INDUSTRIAL LEVEL DIGITAL PRINTING MACHINE

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming tender exercise for supply of a flatbed industrial level digital printing machine using ink-jet technology with ultra-violet curing. Background: United Nations Offices at Nairobi (UNON) was formed in 1996 to provide an array of services including printing and publishing to UN clients at its Gigiri Location. Current situation: Due to changes in the quantities of printed materials requiring printing onto flat surfaces, UNON requires a flatbed printing device capable of printing on flat materials as well as having the capacity to print from roll material using UV-curing inkjet technology. This requirement is for an all-inclusive or “turnkey” solution for the supply, installation, training, servicing, and consumables provision of a flatbed with UV-curing ink-jet digital device. The maintenance contract is anticipated to be awarded for an initial period of three (3) years with the option to extend for an additional two years.
