Description

The CADRI Partnership is a UN led Partnership composed of 19 partners with proven expertise in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). The Secretariat of the Partnership is hosted by UNDP.

The CADRI Partnership and UNISDR are promoting best practices to develop and implement National & Local DRR strategies through an inclusive and participatory process.

The CADRI Partnership, working together with UNISDR, is commissioning a short-animated video on Do’s and Don’ts in National DRR Strategy Development. The animated video will highlight some of the key principles of National DRR Strategy development (such as multi-hazard, multi-sectoral, people centered, whole of society, and contextualized) embedded into the Words into Action Guide on National and Local DRR strategies, and will build on practical lessons learnt documented by the CADRI Partnership and UNISDR at country level.

The main objective of the assignment is to develop a two-three-minute animation video to raise awareness and interest in the best way to design a successful national DRR strategy.
