INVITATION TO BID NO EMRO 2/2019/10
(Purchase of Tablets for Egypt)
The World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO/EMRO) seeks offers for purchase of 700 durable, field-operation tablets for use in Egypt, as per the attached specifications under (annex A.)
QUERIES:
• A prospective bidder requiring any clarification on technical, contractual or commercial matters may submit its questions via UNGM “Correspondence” tab no later than 17 February 2019.
CLOSING DATE: Saturday, 23 February 2019 at 23:30 (CAIRO TIME)
SUBMISSION OF OFFERS:
• Offers must be submitted in the attached excel sheet and in PDF format. You may add other details as annexes, if any.
• If interested, you are kindly requested to register through United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) by logging-in to this site: https://www.ungm.org and following the guidance under Annex D. After having an active account, continue following the guidance, until you express your interest to this bid. Then, you will be transferred to WHO’s e-tendering system to be able to collect the bidding documents and access your tender opportunities.
• All offers should be submitted in UNGM website before the above-mentioned closing date, and marked “Invitation to Bid: EMRO 2/2019/10 – Tablets for Egypt”.
IMPORTANT REMARK:
• Offers must comply with the requirements under (ANNEX B).
• Offers must be received and made in accordance with the instructions contained in this invitation.
• Any order resulting from this invitation shall contain WHO’s General Terms and Conditions (ANNEX C) and any other specific terms or conditions detailed within this invitation.
INCOTERMS:
• DAP WHO Office, Egypt or
• FCA nearest airport (to be specified)
SELECTION/AWARD CRITERIA
• 80% for total price, and 20% for the delivery time.
EXCLUSION CRITERIA
• Offers with delivery more than 25 days will be excluded
• Offers that are not received in UNGM before the specified deadline will not be considered.
• Only offers offering the requested specifications, will be considered.
In case of award, the suppliers should provide:
• Certificate of Origin.
• Shipping documents, Packing list and invoice.
SELF-DECLARATION FORM:
• Please complete the attached form and return it with your offer.
UN CODE OF CONDUCT:
Confirmation of acceptance that your esteemed company accepts the terms mentioned in the attached UN Code of Conduct, must be received in the same letter containing your bid. The UN Code of conduct is also available in the below link:
