RFQ/2019/7856:Question 15: Since you changed the lots (4-5-6& 7) power rating to continuous, is there any change in the cable size and ATS Size in the amended lots?Answer: No change , please refer and stick to our specification.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.

New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2019/7856:Question 10: Please confirm if the 17 generators in lots (4-5-6&7) must be fitted on high speed trailer aka Portable generator ?Answer: Yes, Portable generator shall be provide.Question 11: Please confirm if the requested gensets’ power in lots 1-2&3 are continuous power rating not prime power like the rest, since the difference will be 30%.Answer: Yes, All genset in all Lots shall be Continuous power rating. As for Lot 4,5,6 & 7, please refer to the revised BoQ.Question 12:  Please confirm the cable size for all lots hence the requested size is quite smaller than the appropriate size. E.x. lot1: the requested cable size is 4x180 mm, but the suitable cable size is 4x240mm doubled?Answer: Please refer to our requirements in technical specifications and BoQ.Question 13: Please clarify for lot 3 location Abo Harba, item 11: Junction Box, the purpose and its detailed specification?Answer: Please refer to our revised BoQ.Question 14: Lot 2, Item 27 please could you specify the underground fuel tank capacity?Answer: The underground tank capacity will be around 3000 ltrs.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.

New amendment added #3: - Amendment 2 in the Bill of Quantity (BoQ) of Lots 4,5,6,& 7. The amended part is highlighted in Yellow. The amendment was to change the rating power of the gen sets from "Prime" to Continuous".- Further extension for more 2 days.

New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2019/7856:Question 3:  9 way, free standing, floor mounting, front execution type and outdoor duty L.T Main Distribution Board suitable for 415V, provided with 1 no. 100 Amps capacity ACB as incomer 2 nos. 3Ф 25 A MCCBs & 2 nos 1Ф 16 A MCCBs 2 nos. spare as outgoings. regarding this specification, are sure you want ACB 100A, 3p 25A MCCB & 1p 16A MCCB, we can't get this specification in any products ??Answer:  You are right, and the BoQ has been amended to the 7 lots and will be published in the system shortly.Question 4:   We need to go to some sites to get some points. We also need to meet an engineer to inquire about some points about generators?  Answer: You can send all your inquiries to the esourcing and we will respond to you. You are required to only quote based on the BoQ, specifricaitons and drawings in this RFQ.Question 5: in Lot1, items 7 & 30.1 of Civil works and in Lot 3, item 7 : -     Please clarify the different between these items (Both are regarding Steel Structure) .-     The Roof sheet is Corrugated Steel sheet of thick 0.5 mm as per Drg. No. (S3-03) , whereas Item 7 required 2mm thick metal sheet, Please clarify and illustrate.Answer:  Please note that the thickness of the Fuel Tank is 2mm  While the Top and bottom rails for generator room shelter is 0.5 mmQuestion 6: In Lot 1,  item 8, Lot 2, item9, &  Lot 3, item 8.:-     Location and req. depth & size of leakage pond are not shown in the drawings. Pls. Clarify?-     Please Clarify if the top of pond needs to be closed (identify material type and size) or will be open?Answer: For the location of the leakage pond, you can refer to the drawings S2-04. As for the topness of the Pond,  it will be open  as per drawing.Question 7: In Lot 2 item 4, confirm is the supply of this pump (One Pump) is in the scope, we note the pump is shown in the drawing No.(S2-02)?Answer: Yes , there is no pump required for Lot 2. Please stick to the BoQ. Question 8: For lot 2, item 7 & Civil items 23:26, Please clarify the diffrent between these items (All regarding Rehabilitation)?Answer: item 7 is for follow meter. And Item 23 is Carbon dioxide wheeled Fire Extinguishers 50kg while item 26 maintaining and repairing of metallic door, joints handles and locks other accessories, re-fixing properly, replacing damaged parts,the price includes repainting of door with primer/sealer paints and coulored paints two coated.Question 9: For Lot 3,  Drawing S1-03: Scope of removing of Old Dg. set with any Sub structure not clear & for Lots 4 , 5 , 6 & 7 Clarify and identify what is the req. Civil works (if any) not shown in BOQ.?Answer: Please refer to our BoQ only and you will need to quote what is only in the BoQ. This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.

RFQ/2018/7788:Question 1: should we have a separate team for each project or we can use some of the personnel for more than one Team?Answer:  No , it is not necessary , it is important to finish the installation within the project time line. Question 2: can we put a project manager for a team at the same time as an engineer for the same team?  Answer: Yes, you can. This shall form part of the official solicitation documents.
