New clarification added: Question 9. Is there any requirement of Training of users of the drones ?Answer 9.Training is not part of the current requirement. However, there might be a possibility to request training, if necessary, with the successful bidder.

New clarification added: Question8.The mentioned DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Drone is a Consumer Entry-Level Professional Drone.For Police EOD / IEDD teams for carrying out remote recon on EOD and IED items, we would recommend Industrial/Military Grade Drones, which would be almost 10 times the price.Will the evaluation based on meeting the minimum specs given and being lowest priced, or would UNOPS consider the value-additions provided by the Industrial/Military Grade Drones, despite the price?Answer 8. The purpose of the drones is as mentioned in the Schedule of Requirement. The evaluation will follow lowest priced technically acceptable offer method , price and technical compliance will be considerd. Bidders can also offer an alternative offer if they think can add value. However, during evaluation the main offer will be considered first.

New clarification added: Question 7. Can UNOPS identify the agency that it uses for customs clearance in Erbil?Answer 7. UNOPS can help the successful bidder in identifying custums clearance agent. However, clearance process is supplier's responsibility. UNOPS will provide all the necessary supporting letters for tax exemption and import permit from the Iraqi government prior to shipment upon receipt of all shipping documents from supplier.

New clarification added: Question 6.Miltary/police drones are very expensive since they are made with tactical technology in mind, do you have the budget for all 10 drones?Answer 6. When fixing the requirements we do market assessement and thus budget.Please quote your price.

New clarification added: Question 5. As you also require a display, should it be a display mounted on the remote control? Or can it be also a headset, that the user can wear on his head and look directly into the display? The Drones are for surveying the area we believe IEDs / UXOs may be present. Therefore they are for tactical use. New clarification added: Question 2The delivery term is DAP, kindly confirm that UNMAS/UNOPS will do the customs clearance.If not, will UN provide a tax exemption letter?Answer 2. The delivery term is DAP Erbil UNMAS UNOPS office. Bidders will be responsible for the customs clearance at Erbil International airport. UNOPS UNMAS will provide tax exemption letter and import permit from the Kurdistan Government.

New clarification added: Question 1.Kindly provide more detailed specification of the required Drones.Also, do you have a picture and model of the existing drones used by UNOPS?Answer 1. The drones are professional drones as specified in Section III-Schedule of requirement. The drones can be Phantom 4 Advanced or equivalent.
