Provision of Maintenance and Repair for Walkthrough Metal Detectors at UNAMI Regional HQ in the International Zone Area, Baghdad, Iraq.

1. United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit proposals for the provision of maintenance and repair for currently held 04 x Magnascanner CS 5000( Walkthrough Metal Detector) at UNAMI Regional HQ in the International Zone Area, Baghdad, Iraq as per the following detailed service plan: a. Repair of existing 3 of 4 out of order Walk through Metal Detector equipment. b. Regular quarterly maintenance, three months interval. c. Testing and installation in UNAMI location at International Zone (Baghdad, Iraq) subject to an official UNAMI request. d. Provision of consumables required during the regular maintenance and emergency call visit. e. Training for (10) ten UNAMI staff members. 2. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. 3. UNAMI intends to award this contract for one year, with the option of extension for an additional four consecutive one year periods at UNAMI’s discretion and also subject to service provider performance which should be satisfactory.
