Description

UNICEF is the agency of the United Nations mandated to advocate for the protection of children’s rights. UNICEF carries out its work through its headquarters in New York, 8 regional offices and 125 country offices worldwide. In preparation for upcoming Microsoft application rollouts during the next three years, UNICEF requires a comprehensive End User Training Programme, that is customized for the organization and that will provide skill building training to Standard End Users, Power End Users and Senior Staff in a variety of locations – primarily in UNICEF Headquarters in New York, USA. The customized training sessions will be comprised of (1) briefing sessions, (2) hand-on training sessions and (3) one-on-one sessions for Executive Staff.

To address the training needs of UNICEF offices outside the United States, the vendor must be able to deliver the same training content using video conference technology (e.g. WebEx) with the flexibility to meet time-zone requirements specific to UNICEF offices.  The vendor must also be able and willing to travel to UNICEF field offices as required.

UNICEF is specifically seeking EOI’s from fully qualified companies with expertise and experience in providing end-user training and documentation (Tip sheets, FAQs, Quick cards, etc.) in the following areas:

  • Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems (eg. Windows 7)
  • Microsoft Messaging Clients (e.g. Outlook 2007/2010, Outlook Web Access)
  • Microsoft Office Productivity Suites (e.g. Office 2007/2010)
  • Microsoft Collaboration Systems (e.g. Sharepoint 2010)
  • Unified Communications (e.g. Office Communication Services)
  • Other Microsoft client applications requiring end user training approved by UNICEF’s IT Review Board.
