Description
The secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) located in Bonn, Germany, services the intergovernmental process to address climate change. It supports the implementation of the Convention and its Kyoto Protocol by a range of activities, including through substantive and organizational support to meetings of Governments.
The UNFCCC secretariat is seeking to implement a framework contract for the provision of mobile communication devices and services. The secretariat hereby solicits your expression of interest for this requirement, and is hereby announcing its intent to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to interested and qualified vendors that can provide:
BlackBerry and mobile phone devices, services and support under a framework contract for a period of 3 years
The mobile phone service must be fully integrated in the secretariat’s existing Lotus Notes email infrastructure. English and QWERTY interface is an essential requirement. Furthermore, the successful vendor will be required to take over contracts and numbers of existing mobile phone contracts which have different expiry dates.
Detailed specifications will be provided as part of the Request for Proposal, which will be issued after the closing date of this request for EOI.
Please note that responding to the EOI does not guarantee your company will be invited to participate in the forthcoming RFP. A list of companies to be invited will be established subsequent to the review and analysis of the responses to this request for EOI. Please submit your response to this EOI by e-mail or fax using the attached form. All responses will be kept strictly confidential.
