REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REOI)

FOR PREQUALIFICATION

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) invites Expression of Interest for the pre-qualification of local companies and institutions for provision of media and communication related services as part of UNICEF supported programmes and operations in Bangladesh. These may include the following areas of work:-

• Market Research and Analysis and Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation;
• Communication Planning and Strategy Development;
• Design and Development (Message and Material);
• Communication Training and Capacity Development;
• Media Campaign Design, Development and Implementation;
• Event Management, Rapporteuring  & Related Services;
• Social Mobilisation, Community Engagement and Research and Documentation:
• Indigenous Media (Interactive Participatory Theater, Folk Song, Puppet Show, Muppet Show, Pot Song etc);
• Advocacy;
• Translation and Interpretation.

 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• This REOI for Prequalification is open to all companies registered and having a valid license to operate in Bangladesh.
• To become eligible the candidates shall demonstrate to have: Active business experience in providing services as contractors for 3 years and successfully completed at least 3 (three) in services of a nature and complexity comparable to the services required above.
• Companies are required to furnish Audited Balance Sheets for the last two financial years.

THE PROCEDURE AND DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THE EOI:

Interested company and institution that meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to download and review the expression of interest for “Prequalification form for Media and Communication related services”

• and to submit the fully completed Prequalification Forms available at following web link: http://www.unicef.org/bangladesh/supply_4914.html, or to contact UNICEF Supply Section at the email: supplybangladesh@unicef.org
• The Expression of Interest and accompanying documents should be emailed to eoibangladesh@UNICEF.org, by:         15th October 2018 (Monday).
• Submissions received late may be rejected.

PLEASE NOTE FOLLOWING POINTS:

• This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. We do not require bids or proposals at this stage; we merely seek your Expression of Interest in participating in a tender.
• A response to this Request for Expression of Interest does not automatically ensure that you will be selected to participate in the tender.
• UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. UNICEF also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final tender document or to reject any/all EOI’s without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
• Existing UNICEF Bangladesh Vendors who have participated in UNICEF invitation to bid in the past are also requested to renew their interest by updating their records.
