Provision of Waste Management Services within the United Nations Complex in Nairobi, Kenya.

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites suitably qualified firms to submit their Expression of Interest to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for Provision of Waste Management Services at the UN Gigiri Complex, Nairobi. The Facilities Management and Transportation Section (FMTS) of UNON has daily requirements to manage all the waste produced from the offices, common areas, cafeteria and food facilities, storage areas, conference & exhibition areas and is committed to ensuring that all waste, which cannot be reused directly, is collected, reused, recycled, recovered or disposed of safely follownig environmental requirements. The United Nations at Nairobi (UNON) is seeking an efficient, innovative, high quality licensed Contractor to manage, in an environmentally sound and sustainable manner, all the waste produced on the estate from the Waste Station to the recycling and disposal facilities in Nairobi.
