The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies for the construction of concrete Block Walls, Gates and Boom Gates at various designated UNSOS/UNSOM/AMISOM camps in Somalia for Sector 1 - Mogadishu including Baledogle, Sector 2- Dhobley, Sector 3- Baidoa, Sector 4- Belet Weyne, Sector 5- Jowhar and Sector 6- Kismayo and Sector Putland; Hargeza and Gorrowe and other locations. UNSOS is planning to put in place a five-year contract for the subject requirement. The successful Contractor's responsibilities shall be to provide the following services in UNSOS/ AMISOM camps in Somalia: i. Topographic Survey, ii. Detailed design of Block wall, Gates and Boom Gates, iii. Block walls construction and installations of Gates and Boom Gates, iv. Testing and Commissioning of the Block walls, Gates and Boom Gates; and, v. Demolish of existing structures For this requirement, UNSOS will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and considers inviting those companies which will have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNSOS’s requirement. Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of a price proposal. Interested companies must complete the Vendor Response Form and Return it to the attention of UNSOS Chief Procurement Officer no later than 04:00 PM Nairobi local time on 28 July 2018, via (a) e-mail as PDF attachment to unsoa-procurement@un.org Vendor Response Forms must be completed in full and supported by the requested information providing the evidence of the company’s ability to satisfy UNSOS’s requirement. The UNSOS reserves the right to reject Expressions of Interest documents that are incomplete, or are received after the stated deadline.
