New clarification added: We understand that we will need to provide X interpreters per language at x USD/interpreter/day and then give the total amount under column D. We have difficulty in understanding what information to provide under Column C - Frequency/Day. Can you please provide some clarification ? Answer: The column C is the numbers of days that we will be needing the interpreters. It is already filled from our side. You need just to provide the prices and then the total. Example: 11 interpreters [column B] needed for 3 days [column C].

New clarification added: 1) During the days of work (8 to 12 June), would the organizers provide lunch for the interpreters ? Answer: Lunch will not be provided.2) UNOPS as an entity of the UN is part to the UNCEB-AIIC Agreement governing recruitment of interpreters (“temporary staff”) and their conditions of work. Would UNOPS confirm that Proposals must be in line with the terms of that Agreement and that when deciding which company to award the contract to, UNOPS will be mindful of the terms of the UNCEB-AIIC Agreement? Answer: Yes3) Under RFP Section II, “Required qualifications and experience, last bullet point reads: “The Translation Service Provider is based in Stockholm. Strong preference will be given to interpreters already based in Stockholm “. Our Company operates from a European Union country but we have no presence in Sweden. Would the fact that we are not based in Stockholm disqualify or affect in any manner our Proposal ? Answer: All bidders are eligible if as per Form C, Section 2 The bidder is legally able to provide services in Stockholm, Sweden. Please note that, if you intend to include accommodation ,travel and per diem costs in the financial proposal, please do so by adding it to the unit cost per interpreters. New clarification added: Does UNOPS require any interpretation equipment for the whisper interpretation part (presentations)? If it does, will the interpretation equipment be present onsite?Answer : There won't be any interpretation equipment onsite! Only AV support If the interpreters are not local, will UNOPS cover the cost of an international travel and hotel or should it be included in their rates?Answer: Please include accommodation travel and per diem in the financial proposal, by adding it to the unit cost per interpreters. Any deviation or change of the price schedule will lead to disqualification. Why are 3 interpreters needed for English<>French and not for other languages? Answer : See RFQ_SectionII-Schedule of Requirements, language Combination. The suggested amounts are estimated (Maximum amount) . final numbers will be communicated as the event approaches. What will influence the final number of French interpreters needed? ? Answer : See RFQ_SectionII-Schedule of Requirements, language Combination. The suggested amounts are estimated (Maximum amount) . final numbers will be communicated as the event approachesWhy is the total number of French interpreters odd if they work in pairs? ? Answer : See RFQ_SectionII-Schedule of Requirements, language Combination. The suggested amounts are estimated (Maximum amount) . final numbers will be communicated as the event approaches Is there a chance that Russian <> Spanish interpretation is needed? New clarification added: Dear Procurement Team,Could you clarify the following for us please:1. Could you advise us if there is a draft or final agenda available for any of the days during the event? Answer 1 : See the Documents tab, we will add the draft Agenda of the first 3 days in the documents tab. 2. Could you advise us of the percentage of time the 20 delegates will be together in the same room during each of the 3 training days and the other 2 days? Answer2: During the 3 training days: we expect all the 20 delegates to attend all the sessions, there will not be parallels sessions. For the 2 last days we are expecting maximum of 4 participants. See RFQ_SectionII-Schedule of Requirements- Interpretation Teams Scenario.3. Could you advise us of the percentage of time the delegates requiring interpreting (7 French, 1 Spanish and 1 Russian) will be split up into groups? For example, when splitting up into groups, will each of the 7 French speakers be in different groups? Answer 3 : The assumption of splitting up the French speakers into groups was made to ease the interpretation since we know that whispering for group bigger than 3 people is not practical and confortable always. But there is not a specific group configuration required for most of the training session. There will be one working session (SEE AGENDA) and one individual working session with coaches, but participants can sit close to each other. 4. If suitable interpreters cannot be found in Stockholm, and additional interpreters need to be bought in from other neighbouring countries, should their accomodation, travel and per diem be indicated in the financial proposal? In our experience, interpreters based in Stockholm tend to charge more than those in neighbouring countries, so it may be more cost-effective to bring them in from other countries where interpreters charge less daily rates.Answer 4 : yes please include accommodation, travel and per diem in the financial proposal5. Could you advise if lunch will be provided to the interpreters during the event? Answer 5 : Lunch will not be provided . I look forward to your clarifications and wish you a pleasant afternoon.
