Provision of cafeteria services to UNAMA in Kabul, Afghanistan (EOI/05/18)

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking potential vendors for the provision of cafeteria services at its premises in Kabul, Afghanistan. The selected contractor is required to establish, maintain and operate two cafeterias, (liberty to include "Snack Bar / Café"or "a la carte" services) and to provide catering services to UN personnel primarily for breakfast and lunch and may also include hot and cold drinks and snacks. Meals should be as varied as possible to respond to the needs of the various nationalities. The UN does not make any warrantees or guarantees on the minimum number of patrons using the Cafeteria facilities. It is the selected contractor's sole responsibility to provide meals on a cash only basis and to collect payment from the customers. No food will be provided on credit and UNAMA will not be responsible for any outstanding payments of individual customers. The Contractor shall use a point-of-sale register Machine at the Cash Counter, approved by UNAMA, which shall generate bills/receipts, as well as provide periodic sale summary for audit by UNAMA. UNAMA will provide the site at both locations with furniture and some equipment that can be seen during site visit to be organised during the solicitation process. The Service provider shall be responsible for providing all other necessary equipment, material, supplies to fulfill the service requirement.
