Provision of TV over IP Services for the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG)

The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified suppliers for the Provision of TV over IP Services to UNOG in anticipation of a related tender to be issued. UNOG intends to award a contract to the successful vendor following a competitive tender process for a period of one (1) year with possibility of extension for additional three consecutive periods of one year each (1+1+1+1), at UN option. The selected supplier shall provide IP channels via a dedicated link with UNOG including the necessary infrastructure to multicast the channels live on UNOG's IP network using recognized industry standard protocols such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and VC-1. TV channels (countries) requested at a minimum include but are not limited to: - ZDF (DE) - ORF (DE) - Euronews (FR) CCTV4 (CN) - RT (RU) - ARTE (FR) - BBC (GB) - CNN International (US) - CNBC (US) - Al Jazeera (QA) - Al Jazeera English (QA) - SRF 1 (CH) - SRF 2 (CH) - RTS 1 (CH) - RTS 2 (CH) - France 24 (FR) - TF1 (FR) - TV5 Monde (FR) - RAI (IT) Support services to be provided by the bidder shall be required either in French or English on a 24/7 basis, with initial on-the-job training provided to UNOG staff on equipment maintenance.
