Description
The UN Procurement Division is seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors for the provision of armoured 4x4 heavy duty station wagon in support of the UN field missions worldwide on the basis of a long term contract of potentially up to 5 years. The general requirements of the UN are, but not limited to, the following: 1. The vehicle must have passed the requirements of vehicle acceptance test (ballistic) according to VPAM BRV 2009 level VR7, or an equivalent protection level specified by a recognised standard. 2. The vehicle must have passed the vehicle acceptance test (15 kg TNT) according to VPAM ERV 2010 blast road side, driver's side, 4-meter distance, or an equivalent protection level specified by a recognised standard. 3. The vehicle must have passed the vehicle acceptance test (2 DM51 roof) according to VPAM ERV 2010 DM51, 2 hand grenades vehicle's roof, driver's side, or an equivalent protection level specified by a recognised standard. 4. The vehicle must have passed the vehicle acceptance test (DM31 underbelly) according to VPAM ERV 2010 DM31, 1 anti-personnel fragmentation mine underbelly vehicle floor, driver's side, or an equivalent protection level specified by a recognised standard. After-Sale Services: the UN usually maintains its own vehicle fleet. However, a good after-sales service package is required, including warranty, provision of spare parts, training of UN staff (including on-site maintenance training in UN field missions), technical support, tools and equipment, as and when required. Vendors interested in being considered for the planned tender should submit the requirements explained below.
