Description
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking expression of interest for setting up a contract for the Provision of Fuel Testing and Laboratory Analysis to UNAMA, Kabul, Afghanistan UNAMA requires an independent, industry standard fuel sample-testing and laboratory services for diesel and aviation fuel. The SOW will describe the responsibilities of the successful contractor for the services to be provided to UNAMA during the contractual period for the required laboratory test and analysis. The contractor shall be responsible for making all necessary arrangements to meet its contractual obligations. The contractor shall provide UNAMA with the following: 1 UN standardised canister in which fuel samples will be delivered for the lab test. 2 The contractor is expected to submit laboratory test results within three (3) working days after a sample has been delivered to the laboratory. 3 Lab report should be signed and delivered through electronic mail 4 The contractor shall be required to provide laboratory test and analysis upon request of UNAMA Fuel Unit effective on the first day of the contract. 5 The contractor must have the capacity to do laboratory test and analysis covering the requirements stated in the SOW. 6 Mandatory requirements. Bidders or their subcontractors must physically have ISO certified laboratory in Afghanistan capable of meeting the test requirements of UNAMA 7 Certificate of laboratory Test and Analysis. The contractor shall provide UNAMA Fuel Unit, an appropriate “Certificates of Laboratory Test and Analysis’ for all samples the Mission submitted for testing and analysis within three (3) working days. This notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest; it does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time. Details of the SOW will be provided in the solicitation documents to the invited vendors later. Pre-selection criteria - (to be invited to the solicitation process): * A company must be at least 3 years old * Registered in UNGM at Level 1 * Have sufficient prior similar experience * Valid licence to operate in Afghanistan
