1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for the Body Repair,Painting, Tyre Maintenance, Wheel Balancing , Wheel Alignment, Replacement of Wind Shield/Glasses and Body Spare Parts for UNAMI Vehicle Fleet in Erbil, iraq. 1.1 OBJECTIVE: • To complete various types of automobile body repairs. • To complete external automotive body painting in white as per model color code with black suspended parts. • To complete all tire related work tire including repair/maintenance and replacement. • To complete wheel balancing and alignment. • To provide on-site body repairs and other related work as required by UNAMI Transport. • To provide a quotation of labor cost on an hourly basis plus the cost of material/parts required for the repairs. • To provide list of commonly used body spare parts and automotive painting materials. • Ability to perform work for all UNAMI Erbil fleet as per provided list and subject to increase. • Vendor shall give priority to UNAMI vehicles. • UNAMI Transport will provide Spare Parts to complete the work if available in UNAMI stock. • Work should be done within reasonable time; Tire and minor body repairs should be completed same day (1 day) and major body repairs must not exceed more than two weeks from the reception of vehicle with the exception of extremely damaged vehicle. 1.2 The Repair and Services agreement for this will be for an initial one year period, with the option to extend at UNAMI's discretion under the same terms and conditions forTwo (2) more years one year at a time. 1.3 Mandatory i. Adequate qualified staff with technical awareness in Vehicle Painting and Body Repairs, tire maintenance & glass replacement to restore the vehicle as per manufacturer specifications. ii. Response time frame: Minor repairs < 1 day, Major repairs < 2 weeks iii. Adequate workshop tools and equipment iv. One-year warranty on all repairs, except tires. v. Minimum Three (3) months warranty on tires vi. Required minimum year of experience for staff working at the workshop > 5 years vii. Experience with international organization viii. Contractors must attend the Mandatory Site visit to be held at UNAMI Erbil Regional Office in order to familiarize themselves with UNAMI fleet and workshop. Note: Proof of Documents must be submitted as part of technical requirements upon receipt of the tender document 2.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Invitation To Bid (ITB) with detailed specifications to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. 3.0 Please note the following: 3.1 This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. 3.2 UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for an document. 3.3 UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
