Description
Mid-Term Review of the 2016-2021 International Land Coalition Strategy
The ILC secretariat is commissioning, on behalf of the ILC Council, an independent mid-term review (MTR).
The ILC is a global alliance of more than 200 civil society and intergovernmental organisations. ILC’s 2016- 2021 Strategy contributes to realising ILC’s mission, having defined the shared goal to realise land governance for and with people at the country level, responding to the needs and protecting the rights of the women, men and communities who live on and from the land, through 3 pillars and strategic objectives: Connect, Mobilise and Influence.
The 2016-21Strategy was approved at the Dakar Assembly of Members in 2015. The strategy was built through a participatory and consultative process within and beyond the network, and is meant to guide the ILC network in fulfilling its mission, vision and goal.
In order to assess the continued validity of the Strategy, progress made towards achieving the 2018 targets, and any need for adjustments, the ILC secretariat is commissioning, on behalf of the ILC Council, an independent mid-term review (MTR). This MTR will consider results of 2016 and 2017, keeping in mind that ILC’s work is a continuum and current achievements may reflect engagements realised prior to 2016.
