IT Equipment and Software in support to National Elections Commission

The amendment of KRT/ ITB /ESP/09/007 are as follows:

A.INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS:

I. The closing date is extended to 28 June 2009.

B. Questions and Answers

The following section addresses all the Questions received until Monday 15 June, 2009

1.    The requested specs for the Desktop computer (item 5) are not quite clear and we would appreciate more info about: Processor type and speed, capacity of the memory, monitor size.

R. Same minimum specs as LAPTOP for new purchases, minimum 1.6GHz, Intel or AMD dual processor.

2.    Would you need WLAN / Media drive / modem?

R. Yes

3.    Also dual processors are required for the desktops which are only available in specific high end workstations and servers. Please clarify

4.    For the laptop computers, what’s the HDD capacity requested? Is the carrying case requested?
