New clarification added: QUESTIONS:1. Please confirm if all manuals must be in French. Currently ITB and Clarifications only state Lot 2 and Lot 4 require French user manuals.2. Who is the end user? This is required for export compliance.3. For Lot 3 Hook and Line:“Is there a technical performance requirement for the line? Our tactical line is smaller in diameter and a different colour (black) than the UNOPS spec however it has a breaking strength in excess of 130kg, exhibits very low stretch under load, and incorporates a protective polyester overbraid. Would this be considered a suitable offering?”4. Is there any training required for the Lots 1-4, and if so, it is to be done in Mali?Answers:1. French Manuals are prefered for other lots but required for Lots 2 and 4. 2. The end user is UNOPS. The end user certificate and all export compliance documents will be provided to the selected supplier(s).3. The color of the pulling line is not important. 130 kg breaking strength, and low strechunder load are suitable. Protective polyester overbraid is not mandatory, but will be considered.4. No training is required for any of the lots.

New clarification added: Question:We have noticed a discrepancy on Lot 4, between the Section II: Schedule of Requirements, and Section III: Returnable Bidding Forms. It is regards to the storage request in the detailed description and specification. One states a thigh pouch, the other a specially designed carrying case(s) with individually shaped compartments for each item. Please confirm which is correct and if the incorect document will be amended on the UNGM site.Answer:There is indead a discrepancy on LOT4. Please provide your best suitable encasement for the iteam (Both encasements will be considered). UNOPS' evaluate for the item will be based on the lowest most compliant offer. New clarification added: QUESTIONS:1. Can we bid for just one LOT or do we have to bid for all of the requested LOTs?Bidders shall be allowed to quote prices for one or more lots identified in the document titled Section II: Schedule of Requirements. However, bidders must offer 100% of the items specified for each lot and to 100% of the quantities specified for each item of a lot. Evaluation will be done per lot. So yes, suppliers can bid for just ONE lot.2. Concerning LOT 2.1 "Portable X-ray Diagnostic System" could you confirm the x-ray generator requirements, for example: minimum generator KV and maximum generator weight in kg.Regarding the original posting, the X-Ray generator must have a maximum weight of 6 kg not the entire system. The imaging area of the X-Ray system must be a minimum of 200mm x 250mm in size. There is no requirement for printing on paper. Operating manuals are required to be in French. No training is required.3. Here is what we need to ask the UN about the bomb suit communications system requirement:3.1. How many users need to be on the network at the same time?Radio communication back to handheld radios is required. The number of handhelds shouldn’t make a difference if they are in range. 3.2. What two-way radio system are they currently using?Motorola Handheld radios3.3. Who is the manufacturer?See above3.4. What is the frequency?Unknown (N/A)3.5. What is the exact radio model number?Unknown (N/A)3.6. Do they want VOX hands free operation? This would be preferable, but not required.3.7. Do they want push to talk operation? This or VOX.3.8.
