1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) will shortly conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the sale (not purchase) of the following written-off UN assets on an "as-is-where-is" basis. a) Trailer-Fuel, Cardi, 112550, 14000 LTR, Heavy, Draw Bar (Quantity: 2) b) Trailer-Fuel, Cargo, WH Olsen, 1000L, 750Kg, Light, Draw Bar/Axle Type (Quantity: 1) c) Pallet Loading System Module, Renault, K-35T, Heavy, Cargo Container 20Ft, 35T-20T Quantity: 1) d) Generic pod, length 1.5m / width 1.7m, vehicle attachment investigation equipment (Quantity: 2) e) Generator set, Honda 5 KVA, Category A, Light duty (Quantity: 1) f) Generator set, FG Wilson 50 KVA, Category C, Medium duty (Quantity: 1) g) Generator set, Perkins 25 KVA, Category B, Intermediate duty (Quantity: 1) h) Generator set, Volvo, 160 KVA, Category D, Heavy duty(Quantity: 3) i) Containerised Ablution Unit, 20Ft, Edilcamp (Quantity: 2) Note: The successful bidders must fulfill Government of Cyprus requirements regarding the payment of customs duties, VAT, Excise Duty and other applicable fees. A mandatory Site Visit shall form part of the solicitation exercise in Nicosia, Cyprus in order for vendors to inspect the assets. 2. In this regard UNFICYP would like to identify buyers who would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Potential buyers are requested to express their interest using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI.
