The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) is located in Addis Ababa invites suitably qualified firms to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the Long Term Agreement (LTA) of Conference Pokens for ECA Flagship events . Annually, ECA partners with African Union (AU) to organize two high level events; African Development Forum (ADF) and Council of Ministers (COM). Both these forums attract policy makers, finance ministers of member’s states, academicians, other UN agencies, bilateral and multilateral donors, civil society and media. It provide space and set the stage for quality deliberation on the continents development issues, in the context of current and emerging opportunities and challenges faced by Africa’s inclusive, sustainable development agenda. The Strategic Planning and Operational Quality Division (SPOQD) is tasked by the Senior Management Team (SMT) to purchase conference Poken devices to conduct evaluation/post action surveys of ECA corporate events. In this regard, SPOQD would as and when needed will engage Poken, through hiring their services i.e. purchase conference Pokens to: • administer a Poken based evaluation survey • distribute digitally event related documents and ECA flagship publications • enhance and boost networking among participants during the event and • final evaluation report on the findings of the event from the responses received from the participants The main objective of using such devices and Poken services is to: • collect immediate feedback about the event on what worked and what did not • to improve the design, planning and organization of large corporate events • to showcase participants and stakeholders that ECA is interested in improving and that we value their input
