Provision of Commercial Medical Services to UNSOS Personnel in Somalia

The United Nations Support Office for Somalia (UNSOS) is seeking sevices from qualified providers with a proven track record in the provision of Commercial Medical Services. These services will primarily be in support of UN staff members and personnel deployed in Somalia. The required services include primary health care, basic dental care, and the ability to provide emergency lifesaving medical and surgical intervention. The selected Contractor will be required to provide services expected from a United Nations Level 1+ type of facility. In addition to the Commercial Medical Services for UNSOS Personnel in Somalia, the Contractor shall provide, when requested by UNSOS, mentoring and training to the AU medical team to support the mandate of AMISOM. UNSOS will provide the appropriate medical facilities, including medical equipment, medical consumables and supplies, pharmaceuticals and drugs. The vendor must be able to deploy within a short time frame. The proposed Contract would be for a period of three (3) years, with two optional extensions of futher twelve months each. The optional extensions are at the sole option of the UN.
