The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) issues the present Request for Proposal for the appointment of a qualified actuarial firm to provide ITU with Actuarial valuation of After-Service Health Insurance (ASHI), actuarial valuation of separation benefit and actuarial of the Health Insurance scheme.

For more information about the detailed services to be performed please see Part IV to Solicitation (‘’Terms of Reference”).

Bidders must be aware that any contract resulting from this Request for Proposal shall contain the ITU General Conditions of Contract for the Provision of Services and Goods (Annex 5), this Solicitation Document, the successful bidder’s Proposal and any other specific terms and conditions detailed herein.

Request for clarifications and Proposal submission

Bidders requiring any clarification about the Solicitation Document, or the solicitation process itself, shall transmit their queries in writing by the deadline of Friday, 28 October 2016 at 16:00 hours (Geneva Time) to the following e-mail addresses:

Proposals must reach ITU’s Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, by the deadline of Friday, 18 November 2016 at 16:00 hours (Geneva Time) as prescribed in Section 6 below.

Solicitation Document amendments and other notices

ITU reserves the right to amend the Request for Proposal prior to the Bid Closing Date.

This Request for Proposal is published on the UNGM website. Accordingly, Bidders shall check periodically if any amendments or communications have been posted on the UNGM website.
