Terms of Reference (summary):

ITC will be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the cleaning services for its Headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland. The contract will be issued for a period of four years (2010-2013), renewable annually.

With a view to pre-select potential suppliers for these services, this Call for expression of interest is being posted for companies having proven experience in the provision of the above services for International Organizations or enterprises.

The RFP and terms of reference will be sent to those suppliers that have been selected by ITC to participate in the call for tender.

Due to the fact that the official language for this RFP will be in French, the Terms of Reference and the correspondence will be in French only.

The suppliers will be expected to provide cleaning services, for ITC Headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland, covering offices on 7 floors, 3 undergrounds, parkings, accesses to building, stairs, lifts, roof, toilets, glazing and doors, blinds, shampooing fitted carpets, wall linings, evacuation of waste, etc...

Submissions for expression of interest shall include the following elements, which represent the criteria for the pre‑selection of suppliers:

 

- Organization, structure, and number and qualifications of employees working in the company.

- Financial reports for the last 2 years (2007-008), audited by an independent Audit company.

- List of recent most important cleaning contracts concluded with the International Organizations of the United Nations System or important enterprises.

- Provision of an “Attestation de non poursuite"

- Acceptance, in writing, of the UN Supplier Code of Conduct posted on ITC Procurement Website.

Only those companies showing at least 5 years of experience in the provision of cleaning services to International Organizations or enterprises with a sufficient number of qualified staff able to provide the services in a multi-cultural context and with a strong commitment to respect practices for the profession, strict confidentiality of the process, including the UN Supplier Code of Conduct, should express their interest.
