Description
The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) is looking for a qualified international company which will be able to provide airfield ground support services which may include but are not limited to airfield ground support services, passenger, cargo and mail handling services; which are required in support of UNSOSs Operated Airfields and Air Terminals, Stated Aviation Standards and Recommended Practices, UN DPKO Aviation Manual, and with Standard Operating Procedures, Directives and Administrative Instructions issued by UNSOS. Airfield ground support services are required for 3 airfields – Baidoa, Kissmayo, Beletweyne ; and 1 optional airfields -, and Baledogle . The Contractor(s) is required to provide airfield ground support services to all flights that are reflected in UNSOS Daily Flight Schedule (Military and/or Civilian). For this requirement, UNSOS will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and consider inviting those companies that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNSOS’s requirement. Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of a price proposal. Interested companies must complete the Vendor Response Form and Return it to the attention of UNSOS Chief Procurement Officer no later than 04:00 PM Nairobi local time on 11 September 2016, via (a) e-mail as PDF attachment to unsoa-procurement@un.org with a copy to mwangobole@un.org. 2. Vendor Response Forms must be completed in full and supported by the requested information providing the evidence of the company’s ability to satisfy UNSOS’s requirement. The UNSOS reserves the right to reject Expressions of Interest documents that are incomplete, or are received after the stated deadline. 3. Registration with UNGM (WWW.UNGM.ORG) is free of charge and Mandatory for all companies wishing to participate in the UN solicitations. Companies that are not registered with UMGM cannot be included in the List of Invitee
