IBM servers, software and related installation and configuration services.

In its continuous effort to implement a virtual system environment, United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) is planning to migrate all messaging and Web servers, as well as to consolidate Linux and AIX applications to an IBM pServer platform. In view of this UNJSPF is seeking to procure two IBM POWER 6 System p 570 servers with related software licences and three-year maintenance and support plan on both hardware and software along with installation and configuration services. In this connection, the UN is requesting expressions of interest from qualified companies that are authorizes partners/resellers/distributers of IBM and would like to be invited to participate in the solicitation. Please note that only resellers authorized by IBM to furnish hardware and software in the IBM United States region will be invited to participate. Vendors should indicate that they are IBM resellers for the IBM North American region in their response to this request for expressions of interest.
