1. United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit proposals for the Supply and Delivery of HIPPO’S (LEYLAND) Spare Parts at IZ Baghdad, Iraq. 2. UNAMI seeks the Supply and Delivery of HIPPO’S (LEYLAND) Spare Parts including armoured glasses to UNAMI International Zone, Baghdad Iraq. UNAMI intends to award a contract for one year from the day contact was signed by both parties. The contract may be extended to an additional Four (4) years, one year at a time subject to satisfactory performance at the discretion of UNAMI. 3. METHOD • The vendor must be a certified armoured vehicle manufacturer and hold in stock at least 100 line items of spare parts for the Hippo vehicles. • The vendor will supply Hippo spare parts against written order (UNAMI Work Orders) issued by the Chief Transport Officer (CTO) or his/her designated representative. • The supplied Hippo spare parts should carry standard dealer warranty of at least Six (6) months or as applicable. • The vendor to provide comprehensive list of spare parts as per the details in the table. 4.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly, would issue a Invitation TO Bid (ITB) to those companies who express their interest and meet initial screening criteria as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies should complete a UNGM Registration at Level 1 or above to be considered further. 5.0 Mandatory Requirements: - Bidders must have the capability to Supply Leyland (Hippo) Genuine Parts to UNAMI HQ in the International Zone, Baghdad, Iraq as per SOR. - All items should be Genuine Leyland (Hippo) and carry at least six-month warranty from the date of R&I by UNAMI. - Capable of supplying the requested items within 30 days if in stock - Proven experience of 2/3 years with International Organizations. 6.0 The successful bidder shall understand, accept and confirm that they: - have the capability to provide requested goods within the time frame . - shall provide a list of Spare parts to be available for UNAMI's work - provide a list of similar works completed in the last five years emphasizing dealing with UN Agencies 7.0 Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for the Tender document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline without citing any reason.
