Description

The purpose of this RFPS (Request for Proposal for Services) is to select and contract a Service Provider (SP) and establish Long Term Arrangement for Services (LTAS) over a period of one year (1), starting 01 September 2016 with the option to extend for two additional one year periods (1+1+1) upon satisfactory results for supporting work (e.g. conducting trainings, workshops, development of learning tools and guidance) on improving quality of paediatric care for the children and adolescents living with HIV in countries of the CEE/CIS Region.

Scope of work:

  • Conduct an initial batch of three-day training courses/seminars on issues of paediatric HIV care for 70-100 participants each in 4 selected countries of CEE/CIS
  • Conduct online interactive courses with up-to-date knowledge covering various issues related to management of children living with HIV, prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission, infant feeding in the context of HIV and related issues

Proposals are sought from established agencies with a proven track record of at least ten years of experience, delivering HIV care services to children, adolescents and families living with HIV. Those organizations will need to have a proven track record of direct work, publications and developing and delivering training programmes in this area. Experience of working in the CEE/CIS region is an asset
