The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), hereby invites qualified companies to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the supply of Ruckus Wireless hardware, software and licenses to the UNON Gigiri Complex, Nairobi, Kenya. 1) The scope of the requirement may include the provision of the following: i) ZoneFlex R710 dual-band 802. 11abgn/ac Wireless Access Point, 4x4:4 streams, BeamFlex+, dual ports, 802.3af PoE Support ii) Zone Director 5000, licensed for up to 100 ZoneFlex Access Points, with dual DC Power Supplies, Fans, Rack Rail Mount Kit. ZD5000 can be upgraded to support up to 1000 Aps with AP license upgrades iii) Perpetual Right To Use for the SmartCell Insight (SCI) application. Includes license to manage 500 APs iv) End User WatchDog Support for SmartCell Insight, Single Instance, with up to 500 AP licenses v) End-User WatchDog Support for ZoneDirector 5000, 100 APs, 1 year 2) Provide reliable 24/7/365 emergency response service. The complete detail of the requirement will be included in the tender document that will be issued to the pre-qualified bidders after this request for EOI is closed IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify eligible vendors that would be interested to participate in the related upcoming solicitation. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for reciept of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, which in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submissions, may receive the final solicitation documents.
