The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), Bangkok, Thailand is seeking a qualified printing company to provide printing services for ESCAP and clients in Asia-Pacific region. Contract Term: Initial duration of one (1) year with two (2) extension options of one (1) year each. Brief Scope of the Services: 1. During the duration of the contract, ESCAP shall place a purchase order to the printer for printing requirements on an as required basis, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract. 2. The printer shall design, layout, edit, proofread and print the publications in various formats in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and purchase order. Types of printing under this contract are book, booklet, brochure, flyer, poster, roll-up frame and banner, folder, leaflet, pamphet and calendar, including CD screen. 3. Proofs, samples and final products shall be submitted to ESCAP by the timeline stated in the purchase order. Other Requirements: 1. The printer may required to accept frequent changes in the manuscript and last minute changes, be available outside normal working hours and physically come to ESCAP for discussion, when required. 2. The printer must be able to proficiently communicate in English language (written and spoken). 3. The printer is required to possess knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, MS Excel, MS Word. 4. The printer is required have experience in producing high-quality publications. Mandatory Requirements: Interested bidders must be registered at the UN Global Marketplace wih UN Secretariat at Level 2 in order to be eligible to participate in this solicitation. Level 2 registration requires the following: 1. General information (name of company, licence number, address, telephone, details of contact persons, etc.). 2. Information on countries in which you do business. 3. Classification of your goods and services. 4. Certificate of incorporation or equivalent document verifying legal status/capacity. 5. Details and email addresses of at least three independent, non-affiliated references whom you have done business with. 6. Names of owner(s) and principals (including parent company, subsidiaries/affiliates, CEO/Managing Director, and those with controlling interests, if applicable). The names of intermediaries, agents and/or consultants, (if any) used in relation to United Nations contracts or bids/proposals. 7. Reference letters from three (3) independent, non-affiliated clients/companies, you have done business with. Reference letters should be in English and from three (3) independent, non-affiliated clients/companies whom you have sold products and/or services to during the last twelve (12) months preferably with a description of project/work undertaken; and date started/completed and value of project. Reference letters should be prepared/signed on the referee’s letterhead paper and reference should refer to the entity that is seeking registration. 8. Financial documents (audited/certified financial statements or equivalent) for the last three (3) years.
