Description
United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), hereby invites qualified firms to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the provision of Ground Ambulance Services. The details of the requirement shall be communicated in due course in the tender documents. Below is a brief description of the requirement: UNON seeks duly qualified companies to: • Provide stand-by ground ambulance services cover at the UN Gigiri Complex in Nairobi and other UN sites or venues during meetings, conferences and other events as will be determined by United Nations Joint Medical Services (UNJMS). • Provide emergency response cover to UN staff at locations within and outside Nairobi. Such response should be prompt and efficient and should be demonstrated by appropriate evidence of available fleet size, capacity, and distribution within Nairobi and its environs. In this regard, UNON intends to contract a vendor to provide ground ambulance services for a period of one year with an option to extend for two consecutive terms of one year each (1+1+1). Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms to caspah.lidiema@unon.org with a copy to george.macharia@unon.org. All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only Vendors which in UN's sole discretion are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents.
