Communication for Sustained Livelihoods and Food Security”: Production and dissemination of Information, Education and Communication Print Materials on Agricultural Development and Livelihoods

United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:

The contractor will design, produce, and disseminate Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials in print format, such as booklets, posters, comics, information-brochures etc. The contractor is expected to conduct the activities, in close collaboration, with the Editorial Committee to be set-up by UNESCO under the framework of the project. Activities include, but are not necessarily limited, to the following tasks. The contractor should, based on their technical experience, add other activities they find relevant to achieve the expected outputs.

1. Based on UNESCO’s Community Information Needs Assessment, and drawing from other relevant research studies, including audience profiling, media landscape analysis etc., prioritize key thematic areas for development of content to support rural agricultural and livelihoods development. The following activities shall be conducted to develop core messages for different information categories

2. Production of Information, Education and Communication Print Materials. These materials shall be clear, well-designed, participatory and interactive, user-friendly, and evidence-based.

3. Disseminate and distribute IEC Print materials

4. Development of a short module on the utilization of the materials for Government, NGOs, farmers associations and cooperatives and relevant local stakeholders.
