Provision of Basic and Advanced Cardio Vascular Life Support Training for 15 UNMISS Staff Medical personnel for 10 Days period in Wau, Republic of South Sudan. Introduction: The objective of the aforementioned training is to provide a structured learning environment for medical staff to develop their skills, team works and organisation necessary to efficeintly manage cardiac emergencies. it is also to emphasize the importance basic life support, CPR to patients survival, the integration of effective basic life support with advancdd cardivascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective interaction and communciation during resucitation. The resultant contract is expected to be for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for an additional period of two (2) years of one (1) year each. Contractors must have the capacity to provide the services requested. Description of General requirements: 1. The institution that will be contracted to deliver the Basic and Advanced Cardio Vascular Life Support Training shall be an accredited and/or recognized by a national/international agency to conduct an in-clas training in Basic/Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and award Certificates. 2. The training will be conducted for a maximum of fifteen (15) participants in one batch, both national and internatnional staff from the Medical Section for ten (10) days. The training sessions will be conducted at the UNMISS Base/Camp in Juba and Wau, South Sudan. The actual training dates will be disclosed at the time of solicitation. 3. The Service Provider must use participatory training methodologies and Adult Learning concepts in the delivery of the programme to adequately benefit the trainees. 4. The Service Provider shall be responsible for all travel, accommodation and subsistence allowance arrangements for its training consultants. 5. The Service Provider shall be responsible for providing all training materials required in the training including but not limited to manuals and hand-outs to participants as hard copies Conditions 1. As a mandatory requirement for UNMISS, before submitting their EOI response, interested service providers are required to be fully registered as a supplier in the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) using the link below: https://www.ungm.org/Public/Pages/RegistrationProcess a) Interested service providers are strongly encouraged to upgrade their registration at level 1 or above in UNGM by the time of submitting EOI to UNMISS. b) The Institution must be registered for this particular service in UNGM (UNSPSC Code: 42300000). c) UNMISS Procurement Section shall reject any EOI that does not contain the final UNGM registration number as it will be considered as non-responsive.
