Provision of UNAMA/KJSO Facility in Kuwait

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA)/KJSO invites companies to express their interest for an upcoming requirement for the provision of UNAMA/KJSO Facility in Kuwait. The Contractor shall be responsible to provide a state of the art facility for UNAMA/KJSO Offices on lease or rental basis for an initial period of 3 years with a possibility to extend for another 3 to 5 years that includes but not limited to the following:- 1. Location: Preferably in the central areas of Kuwait such as, Salmiya, Salwa, Mishref or Kuwait city within Kuwait (e.g. diplomatic area, preferably less busy). 2. Office space: Minimum 80-100 work station, with possibility to expand for additional 25-40 work stations up to a maximum strength of 150 staff in which 85% requiring work station. 3. Amenities and Facilities: The proposed premises should have installed central AC and heating systems with standard fire safety arrangements, emergency escape Exits, Assembly areas etc. and also include but not limited the following: a) Meeting/conference Room accommodating 50-75 participants. b) Training Facility for 20-25 persons. c) Space for canteen/catering services (ranging from 15-20 persons or more to cater). d) Storage place for archives, supplies, etc. e) Office space for technical support/ICT infrastructure (server room, etc) (ditto). It is preferable that premises has installed LAN (trenching, sockets, etc), and good electrical system with large outer space to install satellite dishes diameters ranging from 37 to 3.9 meters. 4. Parking Requirements: Maximum 20-25 vehicles (preferably underground parking) 5. Optional Requirements: i. Security services (guards) (main entrance control, and 24/7 security of building or floor (s) in the offered premises. ii. Cleaning and janitorial services, including waste/garbage/refuse disposal. iii. Catering services for staff cafeteria.
