1. INTRODUCTION Note: ***THIS IS A REOI AND NOT A TENDER*** UNAMID is seeking services from qualified freight forwarding companies with international and national network for the movement of cargo within its area of operation, to support its operational requirements on "as and when required" basis. 2. OBJECTIVE The intention is enter into contract with one (1) or multiple Third Party Logistics (3PL) services provider(s) acting on behalf of UNAMID to provide all the required services for a door-to-door freight collection, expedition and, delivery service of inbound and outbound cargo from the port of entry/exit to final destination within Sudan and occasionally outside of Sudan for outbound cargo. The services shall include freight tracking and item packages, shipment labelling, custom clearance, local warehousing and storage facilities and delivery to UNAMID locations or other nominated delivery points. 3. CONTRACT TERM The initial term of the desire Contract shall be one (1) year from the effective date, UNAMID may at its sole discretion, extend the term of the contract on the existing conditions for additional two (2) consecutive periods of one (1) year each; provided that (i) the mandate and/or funding of UNAMID has not been curtailed, terminated or otherwise become unavailable and (ii) subject to satisfactory performance of the contractor.
