The International Telecommunication Union (hereinafter referred to as "ITU") issues the present Invitation to Bid) PROC-AB-2271-14-BDT for the Provision of a Solution to Automate the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Process in Digitalized Documents

Detailed services and products to be delivered are described in Part III “Terms of Reference” to the present Tender. Any Purchase order resulting from this Tender shall contain ITU General Terms and Conditions, herewith attached as Annex II.1.

Please note that proposals shall be drafted in the Portuguese or English languages and that the delivery will be made to the Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações and its decentralized units. The successful supplier shall undertake to obtain at his own risk and cost all necessary export licenses and authorizations.

This Tender will be administered by ITU Procurement Division. Therefore, bidders requiring any clarification about the Tender documents, or the process itself, shall submit their queries in writing by e-mail to the following address:
