Local Procurement of plastic Jerry cans and plastic buckets on LTA basis

2. BACKGROUND

UNICEF Angola Country Office intends to establish Long-Term Arrangements (LTAs) with qualified suppliers for the supply and delivery of selected WASH plastic containers to support emerging WASH interventions across Angola.

The LTA is not a contract and does not guarantee purchase volumes. Orders will be placed on an as-and-when required basis through individual Purchase Orders (POs).

3. SCOPE OF SUPPLY

Bidders are invited to submit quotations in accordance with the specifications provided in the attached RFQ form which shall also be signed accordingly.

4. LTA DURATION

The LTA will be established for an initial period of one (e) year, with the possibility of two (2) additional years  extension.

5. Pricing Structure

Prices shall be firm and fixed for the LTA duration.

• Unit price per item

• Delivery terms: DAP – UNICEF premises, Luanda (Incoterms 2020)

• Currency: USD but when procuring/placing orders shall be convertible to AOA at the prevailing UN operational Rate of Exchange

• Prices exclusive of VAT and duties

5. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Company registration documents
• At least two references
• Acceptance of UNICEF General Terms and Conditions

6. EVALUATION CRITERIA

• Compliance with technical specifications

• Price competitiveness

• Delivery lead time

• Supplier capacity and experience
