With a view to strengthening strategic and operational engagement with the private sector within its labour migration portfolio in South-East Asia, the ILO is seeking a consultant to undertake an assignment with the following three objectives: 1. Undertake regional mapping and stocktaking of employer engagement initiatives in migration across Southeast Asia, with a view to identifying what worked and what didn't; 2. Develop a consultative ASEAN employer position paper on fair recruitment (approximately 10-15 pages), in close consultation with ACE members, including recruitment costs and fraudulent recruitment practices (including scam-related exploitation); and 3. Provide operational and analytical support to the ILO employers specialist (ACTEMP) and PROTECT and TRIANGLE Project Managers in reviewing and strengthening private sector engagement – particularly ongoing implementation agreements and activities with employer organizations.
