New clarification added: Vendor's clarification question: upon preparation of technical document, on the solicitation document, part 4 which are key equipments proposed, the schedule requires borehole drilling rig (Rotary/DTH) and also Air Compressor in separate. However, latest machines such as our proposal (2024 model), have uniqe features that Truck mounted DTH drill rig is mounted on truck along with Air Compressor in a single truck that will satisfy your double requirement easily. Thus, our company will provide confirmation  MANUFACTURE CERTIFICATE up on submission.UNOPS Response: The latest machines that combine both functions into a single unit is accaptable provided that each functions ( components )meet the capacity as stated in the solicitation documents ( I.e Air Compressor (900-1000 CFM , ≥20 bar) and the Borehole drilling rig (Rotary / DTH)  with a drilling capacity of 200m. 

New clarification added: Vendor's Clarification question: Bill Nr 5- Transmission Electrical Works requires to deliver Grundfoss SP 9-36 or equivalent Pumps. Is it required to submit the catalogue and data sheet for all electrical materials during this tendering Evaluation Phase?UNOPS response During the tending process submitting catalogues or data sheets is not required . However , the awarded contractor before delivering all the required materials should submit samples for verification and approval by the UNOPS team for alignment with the specification as confirmed in the solicitaion document & bidders submission. Vendor's Clarification question: We wouid like to require the detail about the GPRS Network from the reservoir to the pump station to effect authomatic pump start stopping system. And as far as it requires imported accessories that are not available in our country it is challenging to supply within alloted 100 days. can we therefore receive more time to fix the system after the deadlines? UNOPS response: Kindly be informed that the specification provides alternative communication options such as GPRS, Radio frequency (RF) or Direct protected signal wiring from the reservoir to the pump station. The bidder is free to select the most feasible, and technically appropriate option, provided it reliably achieves the required automatic start/stop function.Thus, bidders are expected to meet the reasonable delivery time of 100 days. Vendor's Clarification question: The fence details on the drawing and BOQ differ slightly. What kind of post did you design for the fence? Is that an RHS Post or Concrete PostUNOPS Response: The POST should be RHS Post and Not Concrete Post . Under Bill Nr.5 -Transmission -El , For Item no. 4.3 the following amendment on the BoQ will be issued shortly. Item 4.3 . New clarification added: Vendor's clarification question:There is no quantitiy amount put on Items in Bill Nr.5-TRANSMISSION ELECTRICAL WORK of SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS Items No 1.1  Provision and installation of electric submersible pump sets complete with motor,starter, sensor, grundfoss SP 9-36 or equivalent size and quality.,  POWER : 7.5 KW So please give us a caraificatio on it.UNOPS Response: Please note that under Bill Nr.5, Item no. 1.1 which is Provision and installation of electric submersible pump sets complete with motor,starter, sensor, grundfoss ... , constitutes two rows and the quantity for this item is provided in the next (second ) row as set 1. Hence as clearly stated on the second row of item no. 1.1,  quantity is set 1.

New clarification added: Vendor's clarification request Our company is interested in this bid to participate only in the solar panel and all accessories, submersible pump supply and installation part, without the construction and borehole development.  Is that possible as partial bid participation? UNOPS Response: Please note that as it is clearly stated under the particular section of the RFQ, Partial quotations shall not be allowed and Bidders must quote prices for the total goods and/or services for the total requirement requested and Evaluation will be done for the total requirement.
