Consultancy to UNESCO’s Internal Oversight Services regarding the audit of UNESCO’s Resource Mobilization Activities

The Internal Oversight Service (IOS) of UNESCO, Paris, France will assess the design and operation of UNESCO’s resource mobilization framework from the point of planning and forecasting at the corporate level to the point of signed donor agreements and receipt of funds.  In this regard, we are seeking external expertise to work with the Internal Audit team to design the audit and assess the systems and procedures in place. 

The consultant will support the audit by providing:

1. benchmarking data and resource mobilization practices in comparable organizations;
2. advice on establishing accountability structures, risk management forecasting, monitoring, customer/contact management systems; and  
3. tools which will include assessment questionnaires and maturity models.
