New clarification added: Question:**Payment Terms**:- Can you clarify the payment schedule (e.g., advance payment, upon delivery, or milestones) and preferred currency (USD preferred, per RFQ)?- Are there penalties for late delivery, and if so, what are the specific terms or percentages?UNOPS reply:Please refer to the Particulars tab on eSourcing:- Advance payment: Not allowed- Liquidated damages details / Delay damages details: UNOPS will deduct from the contract price, as liquidated damages, a sum equivalent to a percentage of the original total Contract price (0.1%) for each day of delay until actual delivery or performance, up to a maximum deduction (normally 10%). Once the maximum is reached, UNOPS may terminate the Contract pursuant to the Conditions of Contract.- Performance security details: Performance security shall be required from the awarded Bidder in the amount of [5 %] of the total Contract amount, in the form of a Bank Guarantee as set out in the document titled Section IV: Contract Forms which is available in the Documents section. To minimize Credit Risk, UNOPS will only accept Bank Guarantees from Banks or other Financial Institutions with a minimum Long Term Credit Rating of BBB- with Standard and Poor’s, a minimum Long Term Credit Rating of Baa3 with Moody Investor Services, or a minimum Long Term Credit Rating of BBB- with Fitch Ratings.
