New clarification added: UPDATE TO ABOVE CLARIFICATION:Question:2.Battery InstallationThis is a critical question. If the battery has an IP21 rating, is itacceptable to install ? We believe it would be safer to place itindoors. However, if outdoor installation is necessary, we can installthe battery inside a panel with a fan for protection. Since IP65-ratedbatteries are rare, and for battery it would be more appropriate to usea wall-mounted installation instead of a rack?UNOPS reply:All bidders shall abide with battery capacity and IP rating shall be suitable for outdoor indtallation, noting that the IP rating is required only for the battery closure

Could you please clarify ?UNOPS reply:Please follow the drawings and BoQ while preparing your submission, however implementation methodogly and related question can be site specific and according to the engineers instructions.

What specific tasks or standards should be included?UNOPS reply:Scope of Civil WorksThe civil works shall include all necessary activities required to complete and hand over the contract in full compliance with the project specifications and standards. These activities include, but are not limited to:• Installation of the steel structure as per approved structural drawings;• Maintaining cleanliness of the concrete slabs and surrounding areas of the housing units;• Ensuring that no damage or harm occurs to the housing units or their components during the execution of the works.

New clarification added: Question:3.Structure Welding and Base ConditionsThe drawing indicates that the structure should be welded. Could you please confirm the specific requirements for the structure and the base thickness?UNOPS reply:The base plate shall be anchored to the concrete slab in accordance with the structural details provided in the construction drawings. The main structural steel column shall be welded to the base plate using a 4 mm continuous fillet weld with E70xx electrodes. The thicknesses of the steel sections (column and plate) are as specified in the structural drawings.

New clarification added: Question:are all the houses handed over at one time? How can bidders store their items?UNOPS reply:The works must be completed within the required time. The handover and final take over certificate of the entire project can be done once the entire project is completed. The awarded contractor is responsible to ensure all sites are secured

UNOPS or the supplier?UNOPS reply:The UNOPS team will be assessing the locations, drawings have been provided with this tender, however a pre installation survey will be conducted to explain the locations and layouts to the implementation contractor.

New clarification added: Question:the required panels are 550W per panel. Is it workable if the bidder uses a 620W panel and decreases the quantity/area of the panels?UNOPS reply:Bidders are required to comply with the UNOPS requirements and design of the solar panels
